Life is always moving, am I right?
Belinda and I are right smack in the middle of one of the busier seasons of our marriage (grad school, keeping up with our friends and family, our two full-time jobs – where Belinda is crushing her first year of teaching, an ever growing photography business, and whatever else life decides to throw at us).
Anyway, a couple weeks ago Belinda said, 'I would love to go apple picking this year!' (A very foreign concept to a born and raised Okie).
However, I took that very sly suggestion and we made it happen! And Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge did not disappoint.
We enjoyed every minute of the day:
Important note: In no way, do we have a monopoly on busy, I believe everyone is. However, if you find yourself in the middle of a heavy season take some time and pick some 'apples'! 😉
This guy had stories about ghosts, Smokie The Bear, and was the exact type of person you'd expect to find in the mountains of North Georgia. We loved him.
Living that tractor ride life.
Belinda: 'Take my picture!' [Made this face]
Belinda: 'Show me how to eat an apple.'
Me: [See above]
'She's a righteous fox.'
Belinda: 'Look at it's cute lil' leaf!'
'This bag was deceptively large.'
When you run into a photographer friend while you're at the apple orchard, you always ask them to take your picture!
Thanks Allie Z!
'This bite was surprisingly good.'
'Find you someone who will look at you the way I was looking at this apple.'
